Code Works Code Works are based on a digital photographs and examine the boundaries between what we know and what we see; the computer code that makes up the digital image is extracted from the digital file and converted to alphanumerical text the computer would read to create the image. This text is framed within the work and the orginal photograph is laid on top of the text. Thus, from a distance the viewer can see the entire image, yet if the viewer examines the image closely they can read the computer code that produces the original image.
